Who are going to become ministers in Modi Government 3.0, see the list of probables

New Delhi : Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will take the oath of office on Sunday evening. The sworn-in council of ministers is likely to include most of the prominent faces of his outgoing government. Apart from Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, other senior members of the outgoing government Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Hardeep Singh Puri are likely to be part of the new government. According to a video released officially, around 65 ministers are likely to be sworn in. BJP MPs Jitin Prasada from Uttar Pradesh and Raksha Khadse from Maharashtra are also expected to be part of the new government. Khadse confirmed to the media that he has received a call to be part of the government. However, no official comment has been made yet about the likely ministers. The new faces in the Union Council of Ministers include Manohar Lal Khattar, CR Patil, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Ravneet Singh Bittu.

Most of the new faces in the government are from BJP's allies. Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) Ram Mohan Naidu, Chandrashekhar Pemmasani, Janata Dal (United)'s Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh and Ramnath Thakur, Shiv Sena's Prataprao Jadhav, besides Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas)'s Chirag Paswan, Hindustani Awam Morcha's (HAM) Jitan Ram Manjhi, Janata Dal (Secular)'s HD Kumaraswamy, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD)'s Jayant Chaudhary, Republican Party of India's Ramdas Athawale and Apna Dal (S) Anupriya Patel may take oath as members of the Council of Ministers. According to sources, BJP's Jyotiraditya Scindia, Bhupendra Yadav, Prahlad Joshi, Giriraj Singh, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Jitendra Singh, SPS Baghel, Annapurna Devi, Virendra Kumar, Pankaj Chaudhary, Shobha Karandlaje, Krishna Pal Gurjar and L Murugan may also take oath as ministers. BJP's G Kishan Reddy, Sukanta Majumdar, Rao Indrajit Singh, Nityanand Rai and Bhagirath Choudhury are also likely to be part of the new government.
