Anil Aggarwal, managing director of St Joseph's Group of Institutions, said, “The 10 extra marks given by the school can be in a single subject. Or 10 additional marks can be given to all subjects combined. Aggarwal said, “We have taken this decision in view of the increase in voting percentage in Lucknow Lok Sabha elections.”

Voting will be held on May 20 under the 5th phase for the Lok Sabha seat of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
