Latest T20 rankings released, Pakistan at number six, know the position of Team India

Dubai. There are only a few days left for the ICC T20 World Cup to begin. Just before the tournament begins, the ICC released the latest rankings for this format on Wednesday. The Indian team, which won the first T20 World Cup title, has retained its top position in the men's T20 International rankings ahead of the upcoming stage to be held in the West Indies and the USA. India has 264 rating points.

Two-time champions West Indies have moved up to fourth place with their players in excellent form ahead of the T20 World Cup. The 2012 and 2016 champions are ahead of New Zealand and South Africa with a 3-0 win over South Africa. South Africa have slipped to seventh place. At the same time, 2021 champions Australia are in second place with 257 points, defending champions England are third with 254 points and West Indies are two points behind them with 252 points.

New Zealand has 250 points while Pakistan and South Africa both have 244 points. Pakistan is ahead of South Africa in decimal calculation. West Indies players performed well in the home series before starting the tournament against Papua New Guinea on June 2, which benefited them in the rankings. The results of the series between Bangladesh and America and the ongoing series between England and Pakistan were also given place in the latest update.
