GATE 2025 Exam Date: When will the GATE exam be held?
The date of GATE Exam 2025 has not been announced yet. GATE Exam Notification 2025 will also be released after some time. You will be able to see the notice, information bulletin and apply online from the official website of GATE gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Till then start your preparation by looking at the GATE exam pattern and syllabus.
GATE Exam Pattern 2025: GATE Paper Pattern
- This exam will be conducted in online mode (CBT).
- The language of the examination will be English.
- The duration of GATE exam will be 3 hours.
- GATE exam will be conducted for a total of 30 subjects. You can choose your stream.
- Apart from this the GATE paper pattern will be something like this-

Negative Marking at GATE | In MCQs, 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer for every 1 mark question. 2/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer for every 2 mark question. There will be no negative marking for MSQ and NAT questions. |

The full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, which is conducted every year by one or the other IIT.
