FMGE Exam 2024: NBEMS's response on FMGE exam paper leak, is NEET PG system applicable here too?

NBEMS, FMGE News in Hindi: After NEET UG and NEET PG, now another medical exam is coming into controversy. Its name is FMGE. The full form of FMGE is Foreign Medical Graduate Exam. Recently, news of FMGE exam 2024 paper leak started coming. Cases of selling FMGE papers on Telegram came to light. The police have also registered an FIR against a group from Kerala. Amidst this entire episode, now the exam conducting agency National Board of Examination (NBEMS) has issued a notice on Friday, July 5, just a few hours before the exam (July 6).

FMGE Exam Latest News: Paper not set yet?

  • The FMGE June 2024 exam is on Saturday, July 6. It has come to light that some people are trying to cheat FMGE candidates through social media platforms. These clever people are claiming that they have the FMGE exam paper 2024 and they can provide those question papers to the candidates in exchange for money.
  • We also got information that Kerala Police has registered a case against some fraudsters who were trying to dupe FMGE aspirants.
  • We would like to inform you that the question paper for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination to be held on July 6 is still being prepared. Through this notice, applicants are being informed not to fall prey to such fraud.
  • Candidates are also advised that if any candidate is found involved in any such activity directly or indirectly then National Board of Examinations will take action against him/her.

Is the paper being prepared on the lines of NEET PG?

As NBE said in the notice issued on Friday that the FMGE paper is still being set. That is, the paper is not ready even a few hours before the exam. So is the FMGE paper also being set on the lines of the recent changes in the NEET PG examination system? That is, a few hours before the exam. Because only two days ago there was news that the NEET PG Question Paper would be set a few hours before the exam. These steps are being taken to avoid incidents like paper leak.
