Rajshree Yojana was launched by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan in June 2016, under which the intention was to ensure that girls continue studying. Under this scheme, parents or guardians are given assistance up to Rs 50,000 for the upbringing of their daughters. The condition is that the girl should be born after June 1, 2016 and should be a resident of Rajasthan. Apart from this, it is necessary that the mother has a Bhamashah card.
The child must be born in a private or government institution registered with Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY). Also, only two girls in a family can avail the benefits of the scheme. However, parents can take the first two installments for the third girl child. Child's class 12th and college admission certificate, Aadhar card of parents or guardians, their bank account details, self declaration form related to two children, Mamta card, school admission certificate, 12th class mark sheet, mobile number, passport. Under Rajshree Yojana, money is available in six installments.
Parents get financial assistance up to Rs 50,000 for the education, health and care of their daughter from birth till she passes class 12th. The first installment is given on the birth of the girl child, which is Rs 2500. The second installment is also of Rs 2500, which is given on the first birthday of the child i.e. after getting all the necessary vaccinations for 1 year. An amount of Rs 4,000 is given in the third installment which is given on taking admission in the first class in any government school. An amount of Rs 5,000 is given in the fourth installment which is given on taking admission in sixth class. The fifth installment is given when she takes admission in class 10th. Then he is given an amount of Rs 11,000. And the last installment, an amount of Rs 25,000 is provided as the sixth installment which is given when the daughter takes admission in class 12th in a government school.
