The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has found that sleep problems are becoming serious. Sleep is very important not only for the brain but also for a healthy body. Experts have claimed that to get sleep, one should eat food which contains tryptophan. Experts from the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) say that eating banana before sleeping helps a lot in sleeping because it also contains tryptophan.

Tryptophan is an amino acid that produces hormones called serotonin and melatonin in the body, which helps in falling asleep easily. According to The Sleep Charity, almonds are also a food which can help in inducing sleep. Almonds contain magnesium which helps in muscle relief and sleep. It all depends on many factors also. The most important thing in this, as everyone says, is to be stress free.
