Kalki 2898 A.D. Part 2 Release Date
'Kalki 2898 A.D.' ended with a title card announcing the 'Kalki 2898 A.D.' cinematic universe and another card read, 'To be continued…' Let us tell you that while talking to Prabhas on Instagram Live, Nag Ashwin had claimed that the second part of the film will take three years to complete. Producer Ashwini Dutt had said in a press conference that 60 percent of the shooting has been completed. A significant portion is yet to be shot and the release date is yet to be decided.
Supreme Yaskin will have an important role
Kamal Haasan received good response despite his limited screen time in the film, but it was clear from the end of the film that his character will have a bigger role in Part 2. At a press meet in Chennai, he said, “In Kalki, I played a small role, appearing for just a few minutes. My real involvement in the film has just begun, and in the sequel, my role will be much bigger. So I watched this film as a fan and I was surprised.”
Will some characters return in the sequel?
Dulquer Salmaan did a cameo in the film, but it was such an important role that fans were wondering if his character would be brought back. Dulquer is playing the role of Captain and the buzz grew when out of all the cameos, the team of the film shared a poster of him which read, 'Introducing our very own Dulquer Salmaan as Captain in the Kalki Cinematic Universe.' The poster fuelled speculations that he would be a part of the sequel as well, but many also thought that he is Parashurama.
