In this busy life, people want some moments of peace. Want to go to some place where they can get some moments of peace and tranquility. Due to increasing population and noise, such places are rarely found in India. But we have come to know about a place which is completely different from the rapidly growing world. There is neither noise nor crowd of people here.

It seems as if Kaliyuga has not come here. We are talking about Tatiya village of Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. All the religious and tourist places present in Vrindavan are full of natural beauty. This village is still untouched by technological progress. It is a place of purity, divinity and spirituality. Thakur ji is seated here. Coming here, people feel a different peace and tranquility. Let us know why Tatiya village is so special. (All photo credits: Wikimedia Commons)

Why didn't Kaliyuga come here?

By Kaliyuga we mean machines here. The people here stay away from the world of machines. No type of technology, machine and electricity is used here. Leave aside mobile phones and ACs, you will not see fans and bulbs installed in anyone's house here. Even an old fashioned wire fan is used to provide air to Bihari ji.

Why was it named Tatiya?

The seventh Acharya, Swami Lalit Kishori Dev Ji, decided to leave Nidhivan and sit under a deserted tree and meditate. Bamboo poles were used to surround the entire area to protect the place from poachers and guards. Bamboo sticks are called “tatiya” in the local language. Thus this village was named Tatiya.

Sages and saints remain engrossed in the devotion of Bihari ji.

This is the place where the sages and saints remain detached from the world and remain engrossed in the devotion of Bihari ji. He has no attachment to the outside world. Coming here, you will feel as if you have gone back several centuries. If you remember Paresh Rawal's film Funtoosh, in which the actors go back many years. After coming here you will feel exactly the same.

Trees and plants are also special

Tatiya village is associated with the Haridas sect. Swami Haridas ji was a devotee of Bihari ji. He claimed to have learned the teachings of love and divine music from the fruits, trees and birds of Vrindavan. Every morning after taking bath in river Yamuna, Swamiji used to reach Nidhivan for prayers and meditate on Radha Krishna.

People here do not perform aarti

It is natural to have Aarti at such a spiritual place. But you will be surprised to hear that devotees do not perform puja or aarti here. Instead, events are organized here. People sit and sing bhajans to please Radha Krishna. It is said that during the bhajan, he himself feels the presence of Bihari ji and Radha Rani.

You will be stunned to see the lifestyle of the saints and sages here. The sadhus here still drink water from the well. Complete care is taken of cleanliness here. The best thing is that the saints here do not take any kind of donation or dakshina. Nor will you find a donation box kept anywhere in this entire place. There is a ban on the devotees coming here from bringing mobile phones. Coming here you cannot use any modern thing or equipment. Women are allowed to enter here only with their heads covered.
