New Delhi. Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Travis Head created a stir in the 35th match of IPL. Head scored his half-century in just 16 balls. Sunrisers Hyderabad completed their 100 runs in the first 5 overs. This is the highest run in the first 5 overs in IPL history. Earlier, the record of scoring the most runs in the first 5 overs in IPL was in the name of Chennai Super Kings, who had touched the figure of 100 runs in 6 overs against Punjab Kings in 2014. Head was out after scoring 89 runs in 32 balls. He scored runs at a strike rate of 278.11 which included 11 fours and 6 sixes, while Abhishek Sharma scored 46 runs in 12 balls which included 2 fours and 6 sixes. Abhishek scored runs at a strike rate of 383.33.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH vs DC) scored 125 runs in the first 6 overs i.e. in the powerplay without losing any wicket. This is the biggest score in powerplay in IPL history.
