Ajay Devgan's film 'Shaitan' has been earning bumper at the box office since its inception. Its sting is being heard not only in the country but also in foreign countries. Even films like Kareena Kapoor's 'Crew' and Prithviraj Sukumaran's 'Aadujeevitam – The Goat Life' have not been able to defeat 'Shaitan'.

While sharing a post on the official Instagram handle of Jio Studio, it was said that 'Shaitan' has crossed the figure of Rs 200 crore worldwide. The worldwide total earning of the movie has reached Rs 201.73 crore.

'Shaitan' becomes the second Hindi film to earn Rs 200 crore
'Shaitan' has become the second Hindi film of the year 2024, which has entered the Rs 200 crore club. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's movie 'Fighter' is at number one. The film, released in January this year, did a business of around Rs 337.2 crores worldwide.

The film reached Rs 150 crore across the country
'Shaitan' is holding strong at the domestic box office. According to the report of SACNILC, this film did a strong business of Rs 14.75 crore on the first day. The film had collected Rs 79.75 crore in the first week. It earned Rs 34.55 crore in the second week. Recently the film has entered the third week. 'Shaitan' has so far done a total business of Rs 139.40 crore across the country.

It is noteworthy that 'Shaitan' is the first film of Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan to be released in the year 2024. Actually, this is the Hindi remake of Gujarati film 'Vash', which was released last year in 2023. There is a lot of discussion about R Madhavan's villainy in 'Shaitan'. He has played such a dreadful role of villain that the audience got scared in the theatres. This film has been directed by Vikas Bahl.
