This Australian legend played an unbeaten innings of 54 runs at a strike rate of 257.14 in the warm-up match. David Warner hit six fours and 3 sixes in his innings of 21 balls. Warner played this innings in the Australia vs Namibia warm-up match.

Australia defeated Namibia by 7 wickets in the warm-up match of the T20 World Cup. Namibia batted first in this match played in Port of Spain. It scored 119 runs for 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. At one point, Australia had taken 7 wickets of Namibia for 75 runs. At that time, Namibia was in danger of getting out for less than 100 runs.
