T20I Records: If Babar scores a half-century then Virat's biggest record will be broken, a big explosion can happen today

New Delhi. Babar Azam has set his sights on a big record of Virat Kohli. The record of scoring the most runs in T20 International matches. If Babar scores a fifty today (30 May), he can break this record of Kohli. A T20 match is to be played between Pakistan and England on Thursday. Pakistan is trailing 0-1 in the 4-match series. This is the last T20 match between the two teams before the T20 World Cup.

Virat Kohli has scored 4037 runs in 117 T20 International matches. He is the only player in the world who has scored more than 4000 runs in this format of cricket. There is every possibility that on Thursday, Babar Azam will also join this special club with Virat. There is another interesting similarity between Virat and Babar. The highest score of both cricketers in the T20 International format is 122.

Babar Azam has scored 3987 runs in 118 T20 International matches. That means he is 50 runs behind Kohli. That means as soon as he scores a half-century, he will equal Kohli. Whereas Babar needs 51 runs to break Virat's record.

Rohit Sharma is also not far behind in terms of scoring the most T20 International runs. He has scored 3974 runs in 151 matches and is third in the list of highest T20 International run scorers. There is so little difference between Virat, Babar and Rohit that an interesting battle can be seen between these three in the World Cup starting from June 1.
