Stenographer Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualification

To apply for these posts, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Apart from this, candidates should know shorthand at least 80 words per minute. Knowledge of computer application is also necessary along with a speed of 40 words per minute in typewriting. Talking about the age limit, to apply in this recruitment of stenographer, the age of the candidates should be more than 21 years and less than 32 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 14 May 2024. That is, the applicants should not be born after 13 May 2003 and before 15 May 1992.

While applying, candidates will also have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. SC, ST and PH candidates are exempted from this. Candidates of this category can apply without any fee. To get selected for the post of Junior Stenographer, candidates will have to go through three stages. The first stage will be a written test of 100 marks. The second will be a computer application test. The last stage will be shorthand and typing test. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in all these stages.
