Sikandar Raza's reaction after defeating India, the work is not done yet

New Delhi. Zimbabwe has taken a 1-0 lead in the 5-match series by defeating India in the first T20 match. The Zimbabwe team, playing under the captaincy of Sikandar Raza, bowled out India for 102 runs. This is Team India's first defeat in 2024. After the victory in the first T20 played in Harare, Sikandar Raza said, 'I am very happy with the victory. But the work is not done, the series is not over. World champions play like world champions. So we have to be ready for the next match.' The second T20 of the series between India and Zimbabwe will be played in Harare on Sunday.

The young Indian team led by Shubman Gill lost to the less experienced Zimbabwe by 13 runs due to the disappointing performance of the batsmen. India won the toss and invited Zimbabwe to bat first. Indian bowlers led by leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi restricted Zimbabwe to 115 runs for 9 wickets. But the Indian batsmen had a lot of trouble on the bouncy pitch, due to which they lost four wickets in the powerplay itself and the entire team was reduced to 102 runs in 19.5 overs. Zimbabwe has defeated India for the first time in 8 years.
