Chennai: The second match in IPL 2024 took place on Sunday between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Batting first, host Chennai Super Kings scored 212 runs for 3 wickets. In this match, Chennai captain Ruturaj Gaikwad played a brilliant inning of 98 runs. After the match, CSK coach Michael Hussey praised Gaikwad. Hussey has said that Gaikwad is a smart batsman.
Chennai Super Kings batting coach Michael Hussey said that Ruturaj Gaikwad got so much success in the current season of IPL due to his ability to stay one step ahead of the bowlers. After scoring unbeaten 108 runs in the last match, Chennai captain Gaikwad scored 98 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hussey said after the victory over Sunrisers, “Gaikwad is such a great player. I keep asking him what is the secret of his excellent placement because he always finds a place in between the fielders.”
