Hyderabad. In this season of the Indian Premier League, on one side, the most explosive team will be Sunrisers Hyderabad and on the other side, the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore will be making its last attempt to keep the hopes alive of remaining in the race for the playoffs. When the Hyderabad team takes the field against the bottom-ranked Bengaluru in the IPL on Thursday, it will again look to score runs while batting aggressively.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), which has crossed the 250-run mark thrice in this IPL phase, has shown stormy batting. In this, Mumbai Indians became its first victim and then in Bengaluru, the 2016 winning team scored the highest score of the tournament by scoring 287 runs for three wickets against RCB. If this was not enough, SRH had also created a possibility of crossing 300 runs for the first time in IPL by making a record of 125 runs without losing a wicket in the powerplay against Delhi Capitals.

RCB, which is at the bottom of the table after losing seven out of eight matches, has conceded at least 180 runs in its last five matches. In the last two matches, the rival team has scored more than 200 runs against them. RCB batsmen have worked hard to compensate for the shortcomings of their bowling. It seems impossible for a team so weak in terms of balance to show all-round performance.

RCB showed great spirit in batting but despite this they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by just one run. However, the RCB management will be quite satisfied with their united batting effort. Virat Kohli will remain RCB's best batsman so far in the tournament, having retained the 'Orange Cap' after scoring 379 runs. Apart from Kohli, some other players are also in great form which includes SRH's Travis Head. Head bats aggressively and takes advantage of every opportunity he gets.

Abhishek Sharma has also shown good batting with the head and Heinrich Klaasen has also contributed well with the bat this season. SARH's strong batting has made the work of their bowlers and captain Pat Cummins easier. SRH remains at third position in the table with 10 points in seven matches.
