The biggest argument being given behind calling Royal Challengers Bangalore i.e. RCB the worst team of IPL is that it has not won the trophy even once. But RCB is not the only such team. Apart from RCB, there are two more teams which have been a part of IPL since its inception, but they also do not have any title in their name. These include Punjab Kings (Kings XI Punjab) and Delhi Capitals (Dare Devils). That means, if not winning the title is the logic, then these three teams will have to be kept together and not any one team.

When it comes to RCB, Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals, Bengaluru team proves to be better among them. RCB team has reached the IPL finals thrice (2009, 2011 and 2016). Punjab Kings (2014) and Delhi Capitals (2020) have reached the finals only once each. Similarly, apart from playing the finals, RCB has made it to the playoffs 4 times. Delhi has played playoffs 5 times and Punjab Kings once. It is clear that if we talk about the lagging team, then the name of Punjab Kings or Delhi Capitals will come before RCB.

Delhi remained in last place 4 times
If we consider being at the bottom in the IPL points table, then Delhi Capitals' record appears to be the worst. Delhi team has remained at the bottom in the points table for 4 seasons. Punjab Kings have finished at the bottom thrice and Royal Challengers Bangalore twice. This means that in the 16 seasons of IPL so far, only Delhi and Punjab teams have been at the bottom 7 times.

It is clear that if we talk about numbers, Royal Challengers Bangalore cannot be called the weakest team of IPL. But the number does not matter to cricket fans or trollers. Fans or trollers are for or against a team on the basis of emotions.
