Through DD Sports, people will be able to watch the live telecast of Paris Olympics and Wimbledon along with the T20 World Cup.

Prasar Bharati CEO Gaurav Dwivedi made this announcement while interacting with the media on Monday. Prasar Bharati also launched a special anthem 'Jazba' for the T20 World Cup on this occasion. Doordarshan also announced live telecast, postponed telecast and telecast of main events of Paris Olympics from 26 July to 11 August and Paris Paralympics from 28 August to 8 September.

Also, India's Zimbabwe tour from July 6 to 14 will be telecast. Five T20 matches will be played on this tour after the T20 World Cup. According to the press release, India's limited overs series in Sri Lanka from July 27 to August 7 will also be telecast live on DD Sports. Apart from this, Doordarshan will also broadcast the finals of the French Open and Wimbledon. It was told, “Prasar Bharati is in the final stages of talks with various sports organizations and agencies to show various sports leagues and competitions on its sports channel.”
