NEET 2024 Latest News in Hindi: The CBI on Monday registered five more FIRs in connection with irregularities in the medical entrance exam NEET UG. These include three cases registered in Patna (Bihar), Godhra (Gujarat) and Rajasthan Police. Sources say that the investigation in the case is still going on. Well The 2024 exam is not just limited to paper leaks. There are also allegations of other people appearing in the exam in place of the real candidates, cheating in the exam center, etc.

NTA is also on the radar of the investigating agency. Meanwhile, two separate teams of CBI reached Patna and Godhra on Monday and took the case diary and other evidence from the local police. This also includes 8 mobile phones, whose investigation can lead to many revelations. After Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, the strings of the scam seem to be connected to Delhi. So far 25 people have been arrested. CBI can also bring them to Delhi on transit remand.

Demand to get NEET investigated by ED

Another petition has been filed in the Supreme Court in the paper leak case of NEET UG 2024 exam, demanding an investigation of the case by ED. Earlier, several petitions were filed in the court demanding a CBI inquiry into the matter. The Supreme Court had issued a notice in this matter. Along with this, the Supreme Court has also issued notice on those petitions in which a plea has been made to cancel the NEET exam. However, the government has handed over the investigation of the NEET case to the CBI.

In the new petition, the Supreme Court has been requested that the ED should take cognizance of the matter and investigate. The petition has requested that the ED be ordered to investigate the accused under the Money Laundering Act. This petition has been filed as an interim petition in the case of Shivangi Mishra and others vs NTA. The Supreme Court has issued notice on June 10 in the case related to Shivangi Mishra and fixed July 8 for hearing.

On the other hand, the Rajasthan High Court on Monday issued a notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Central Government and sought a reply on the petitions related to the cancellation of NEET-UG. The High Court has fixed July 10 for the hearing.
