A day before, on Saturday, it had earned Rs 7.25 crore. On Sunday, along with the cricket match, there was also the swearing-in ceremony of Modi Government 3.0. Especially in the evening shows, 52.23% seats were occupied by the audience. If there was no India-Pakistan cricket match, this film could have earned Rs 9-10 crore.
'Munjya' made in 30 crores earned 19 crores
The budget of 'Munjya' is around 30 crores. It has earned 19 crores in just three days. It is performing well in almost all the circuits of the country. Especially the collections are the best in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh. Being a horror-comedy, this film is suitable for both children and adults. This film also did a business of 4.00 crores on the opening day. This earning was done when the ticket prices were kept low on that day.
'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' also crossed the earning of 30 crores
Meanwhile, sports drama 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' directed by Sharan Sharma has earned Rs 30.05 crore in 10 days. The budget of this film starring Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor is Rs 40 crore. There is danger from 'Chandu Champion' and 'Kalki 2898 A.D.'!
The release of 'Munjya' has definitely caused a little loss to 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi', but this film is still holding its ground. Both these films have a chance to earn freely till Thursday, because in the next few weeks big films like Kartik Aryan's 'Chandu Champion' and Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD' are going to be released. Obviously this will affect the lifetime collection of 'Munjya' and 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi'.
