New Delhi. Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad teams will face each other in the IPL final. This match will be played in Chennai on Sunday. KKR has lifted the trophy twice while Rajasthan Royals has also been the champion once. KKR, captained by Shreyas Iyer, defeated Hyderabad in the first qualifier, while SRH defeated Rajasthan in the second qualifier to book a ticket to the final. In the current season, both the teams have clashed twice where KKR has won both times. If the statistics are to be believed, KKR has the upper hand against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

KKR and Sunrisers Hyderabad (KKR vs SRH) have clashed 27 times so far. KKR has won 18 matches while Hyderabad has won 9 matches. Hyderabad's highest score against KKR is 228 runs while KKR's best score against Hyderabad has been 208 runs.

Pat Cummins has equaled the record of legendary Anil Kumble. Captain Cummins has reached the second position as the bowler who has taken the most wickets in an IPL season. Cummins has taken 17 wickets this season. Kumble also took 17 wickets while captaining RCB in 2010. Shane Warne is at the top of this list with 19 wickets.

Shahbaz Ahmed and Abhishek Sharma shone in bowling
After Heinrich Klaasen's half-century, left-arm spinners Shahbaz Ahmed and Abhishek Sharma's spin magic helped Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs in the second qualifier and make it to the final. Chasing the Sunrisers' target of 176 runs, the Royals could only score 139 runs for seven wickets despite good innings of Dhruv Jurel (56 not out in 35 balls, seven fours, two sixes) and opener Yashasvi Jaiswal (42). For Sunrisers, Shahbaz took three wickets for 23 runs while Abhishek took two wickets for 24 runs.
