New Delhi. Mitchell Starc is a big match player and there should be no concern about his form. Sandeep Patil said this during the World Cup 2023, which proved to be 100 percent true then. Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc once again showed why he is a big match player. This most expensive player of IPL gave his best performance when his team KKR needed it. In the first qualifier of IPL, he spoiled the form of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the power play itself. 4 stalwarts of SRH team, famous for scoring runs in the power play, returned to the pavilion within the sixth over.

The first qualifier of IPL 2024 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday. Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first. But the first attack on this decision of Australia's Cummins was made by his compatriot Starc. Mitchell Starc shook Sunrisers Hyderabad by taking 3 wickets in the powerplay. After the powerplay, Hyderabad's score was 45 runs for 4 wickets.

Left arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc did not even allow Sunrisers Hyderabad's stormy opener Travis Head to open his account. He clean bowled Australia's Travis Head on the second ball of the first over. This ball of Starc was of yorker length, which also swung. Travis Head fired the bat, but the ball went straight to the stumps.
