India started with a win, Bangladesh surrendered at home, hosts lost due to Renuka-Pooja's pace

The first match of the five T20 match series between India and Bangladesh women's team was played in Sylhet. Batting first, the Indian women's team scored 145 runs for 7 wickets. Yastika Bhatia scored the maximum 36 runs for India. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur played an inning of 30 runs. Shefali Verma scored 31 and Richa Ghosh scored 23 runs.

In response to the Indian team's 145 runs, the host Bangladesh women's team could score only 101 runs for 8 wickets. On his behalf, captain Nigar Sultana scored 51 runs.
