New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday made a big allegation against the Congress during the election campaign in Himachal Pradesh. Modi, who reached Mandi in support of Kangana Ranaut, alleged that the Congress has reached a different level of madness. On coming to power, the Congress intends to eliminate India's nuclear weapons, restore Article 370 giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir and repeal the Citizenship Amendment Act. In the election rally, he also attacked those who used abusive language against BJP candidate and actress Kangana Ranaut during the campaign.Congress has reached that level of insanity…
Addressing a rally in Himachal's Mandi, Modi said, “You have seen the Congress rule for decades. The Congress likes an India that is poor and plagued by civic problems. So it wants to bring back the old situation in the country. It wants to put the country's progress in reverse gear. So the Congress is saying that if it comes to power, it will bring back Article 370 and repeal the CAA. It has reached the level of madness where it is saying that it will destroy India's nuclear weapons. It is making these announcements in its election campaign.”

The Prime Minister accused the Congress of being staunchly communal and doing politics of appeasement for vote bank. He said that the Congress is opposing the Uniform Civil Code. The Congress supports Sharia law in the name of Muslim Personal Law. It is a strong supporter of staunch communal and dynastic politics. The Prime Minister criticized those who attacked Ranaut while attacking Mandi. Modi said that the Congress is steeped in conservative thinking, the kind of abuses that the Congress has used against Kangana in the name of Mandi is an insult to the people of Mandi district, Chhoti Kashi (another name for this place) and Himachal Pradesh.
