HC Proofreader Recruitment 2024: Essential Qualification
Through this recruitment of Patna High Court, candidates will be appointed to 60 posts of Translator and 20 posts of Translator cum Proofreader. To apply for these posts, candidates must have the educational qualification mentioned below by January 1, 2024.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized University with English as a major subject.
- Knowledge of Hindi language.
- 6 Months Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application from a recognized Institute.
- Candidates having law degree and knowledge of Urdu/Maithili/Santhali language will be given preference.

Patna HC Vacancy 2024: Age Limit
Talking about the age limit of the applicants, the minimum age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years on 01 July 2024. That is, the date of birth of the candidates should not be after 01 January 2006. The maximum age has been fixed separately on the basis of category and gender. Like male candidates of General and EWS are eligible for this recruitment till the age of 37 years. At the same time, the maximum age for female candidates of the same category has been fixed at 40 years. Similarly, age limit has been fixed for other categories as well. Provision of relaxation has also been made for reserved category.
High Court Vacancy 2024: Selection Process & Application Fee
In this recruitment, candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, computer test and interview. During application, General, BC, EBC and EWS candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1100. Whereas for SC, ST and OH candidates this fee is Rs 550. For the examination center, candidates can select or give preference to Patna, Hajipur and Muzaffarpur as per their wish.
