The viral letter had the alleged signature of Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai, so the social media handles of Tamil Nadu BJP were also searched. The viral letter was not found anywhere. But we found another letter on the BJP letterhead, whose text was different, but it was similar to the viral letter. Below you can see the difference between the two.
Vishvas News contacted Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai regarding this matter. He called it fake and said, 'This letter is fake. Someone has electronically signed this fake letter.' The viral post was shared by a Facebook user named Kuldeep Singh Lodhi. The user has around 5000 friends on Facebook and he is a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
