Gurgaon University Admission Details in Hindi: The admission process has started in Gurgaon University campus. But the schedule and guidelines for college admission have not been released yet. In such a situation, students are not only taking information about the courses from the colleges for admission, they are also visiting the college campus to inspect the facilities. Apart from hostels and sports facilities, they are also keeping an eye on NCC, NSS and other resources. So that after admission, they can be a part of other course activities along with studies.

It has been many days since all the education boards released the 12th result. In such a situation, now the students are waiting for Graduation First Year Admission 2024 in colleges.

UG Admission 2024: You will get benefit from extra marks

In the admission process, students studying in schools in rural areas as well as sports and NCC students will also get benefit –

  • Students who pass class 12th from government or private schools in rural areas get 5 percent weightage of the total marks.
  • Along with this, there is a weightage of 2 to 5 percent for B and C level gradation cards of NCC cadets.
  • A weightage of 2 to 5 percent is given on the gradation card prepared by the District Sports Department for students participating in sports during their school studies.
  • Students selected in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) get a weightage of 10 per cent marks based on their performance.

Gurgaon University: Forms will be filled online

Principal of Government Girls College, Dr. Jitendra Malik said that many students are coming to inquire about admission. They are being told that the schedule will be released soon by the Higher Education Department. After this, students will be able to apply through online medium.

Dr. Sanjay Katyal, admission nodal officer of Government PG College, Sector-9, said that guidelines regarding admission in the new session of the first year have not come yet, but students are being told to keep their preparations complete.

Which courses have higher eligibility?

Admission in the three colleges of the city, Government Girls College in Sector-14, Dronacharya Government College in Railway Road and Government PG College in Sector-9 is the first choice of students not only of Gurgaon but also of Rewari, Mahendragarh and Nuh districts. The merit in the courses like B.Com, B.Sc. Medical, Non-Medical, BCA etc. of these three colleges is quite high. In such a situation, the additional marks obtained under weightage help the rural areas to get a place in the merit list.
