New Delhi: The last and seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections is to be held on June 1. Before the last phase of voting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can visit Kanyakumari. Where he can meditate at Vivekananda Rock Memorial. According to reports, PM Modi will reach Kanyakumari on the evening of May 30 after the Lok Sabha election campaign ends. After this he can go to Vivekananda Rock Memorial. From the evening of May 30 to the evening of June 1, PM Modi will meditate at Dhyan Mandapam. Swami Vivekananda also meditated at this place. Kanyakumari is the same place where Swami Vivekananda had a vision of Bharat Mata. This rock had a great influence on Swami Vivekananda's life. People believe that just as Sarnath has a special place in the life of Gautam Buddha, this rock also has a special place in the life of Swami Vivekananda.

PM Modi's plan to meditate at Swami Vivekananda's meditation place reflects PM Modi's commitment to realizing the vision of 'Developed India'. This is the same place where according to religious beliefs, Goddess Parvati used to sit on one leg and wait for Lord Shiva. This is the southernmost tip of India. Apart from this, this is the same place where the eastern and western coastlines of India meet. It is also the meeting point of the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. PM Modi wants to give a sign of national unity by going to Kanyakumari. It also shows Prime Minister Modi's deep commitment and love for Tamil Nadu that he is visiting the state even after the elections are over. However, this is not the first time that PM Modi is going to meditate at a special place after the elections are over. Earlier, after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections were over, PM Modi went to Kedar Dham in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, where he meditated in the nearby Rudra Cave.

Inspired by Swami Vivekananda

If you understand these few quotes, you will know how much Narendra Modi is connected to Swami Vivekananda or how much he is inspired by him. In 1893, Swami Vivekananda gave a speech in Chicago. PM Modi has been discussing many times from different platforms about how Vivekananda explained Advaita to the western world. PM Modi has also been telling that Swami Vivekananda had a deep influence on his young mind, which inspired him to dedicate his life to service. He also got the opportunity to start his journey of inner discovery from Ramakrishna Mission, where he lived with sadhus and saints. During his stay, he also got the opportunity to spend time in Vivekananda's room.
Where he collected many quotes from Swami Vivekananda in his diary. He also regularly discussed the philosophy and contributions of the Hindu monk with the youth there.

BJP has an old relationship with Kanyakumari

The message of national unity and integrity was given through the BJP's 'Ekta Yatra' which started from Kanyakumari in 1991. PM Modi was given the big responsibility of organizing this 45-day journey. In 1993, he was invited to attend the Global Vision 2000 conference in Washington DC to celebrate the centenary of Swami Vivekananda's speech given at the 1893 World Parliament of Religions. In which 10,000 delegates from 60 countries participated. At the same time, Narendra Modi hosted a youth conference during the centenary year of Vivekananda's Chicago speech. Swami Vivekananda's philosophical influences have a deep impact on Narendra Modi's efforts to awaken national pride. He has also taken Vivekananda's message with him during his foreign trips. A rare book compiled from Swami Vivekananda's speech given at the 1893 World Parliament of Religions was gifted to PM Narendra Modi by President Barack Obama.
