New Delhi: As soon as the Prime Minister reaches the Lok Sabha on Tuesday to respond to the discussion on the motion of thanks on the President's address. Narendra Modi As soon as PM Modi started speaking, the MPs of opposition parties started creating ruckus. Despite repeated warnings by the Lok Sabha Speaker, the ruckus of opposition MPs continued. This ruckus was not for a short while, but the noise continued from the time PM Modi started speaking till he finished speaking. In the middle of his speech, Prime Minister Modi gave a glass of water to the opposition MPs who came to the well of the Lok Sabha and were raising slogans against the government. An opposition MP even snatched the glass of water given by Prime Minister Modi. This move of Prime Minister Modi quickly became a trending topic on social media. Many people praised his move.

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala said in a sarcastic post that dictator Modi gave water to opposition MPs who interrupted his entire speech. A user wrote that when opposition MPs were in the well and shouting to stop him, PM Modi gave them water in response. This is called answering in your own style.

After the Prime Minister spoke, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh introduced a resolution in the House condemning the violation of parliamentary decorum by opposition members during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address in the Lok Sabha, which was approved by voice vote. Singh introduced the censure motion after Prime Minister Modi's reply following a discussion on the motion of thanks to the President's address.
