New Delhi : NDA Parliamentary Party leader Narendra Modi met President Draupadi Murmu to stake claim to form the new government. Soon after staking claim to form the next NDA government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented his plan for the new government. Modi informed that the swearing-in ceremony will take place on the evening of June 9. Speaking in front of Rashtrapati Bhavan, PM Modi said that the President just called me and asked me to work as PM and he informed me about the swearing-in ceremony.

Changes will be seen in every area

Modi said that I have told the President that we will be comfortable on the evening of June 9. Now the Rashtrapati Bhavan will prepare the remaining details and by then we will hand over the list of the Council of Ministers to the President. After that the swearing-in ceremony will take place. Modi said that this was the first election after the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. PM Modi said that for the third time the people have given the NDA government a chance to serve the country… I assure the people of the country that the pace at which the country has progressed in the last two terms, change is visible in every sector and 25 crore people coming out of poverty is a proud moment for every Indian.

The next 5 years will be very useful

He said that in this tenure of 10 years, India has emerged as a Vishwabandhu (world brother) for the world. Its maximum benefit is being reaped now. And I believe that the coming 5 years are going to be very useful for India in the global environment as well. The world is going through many crises, many tensions, disasters… We Indians are fortunate that despite so many big crises, today we are known as the fastest growing economy in the world. We are also being praised in the world for our development journey.

Expressing gratitude to the people for entrusting power to the NDA for the third time, PM Modi assured everyone that in the 18th Lok Sabha too, “we will leave no stone unturned to fulfil the aspirations of the country with the same speed and dedication. The 18th Lok Sabha is full of new energy, youthful energy… This 18th Lok Sabha is an important milestone towards fulfilling those dreams when the country will be celebrating 100 years of Independence in 2047,” PM Modi said.
