The CCTV video of the incident is now going viral on social media. In this video, it can be clearly seen that a person is standing behind the billing counter. Some customers are also seen at the medical store. Meanwhile, the person who was making the bill of the customers suddenly falls down. Another employee of the shop is seen running to help him. But he is unable to help the person and he dies on the spot. According to the timestamp of the CCTV footage, the incident took place around 5:30 pm on Wednesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Murali.
A similar incident happened in 2013 as well
This incident in Hyderabad is reminiscent of a similar incident that happened in August 2013, when a mechanic died of a heart attack while repairing a car at a Hyundai showroom in Autonagar, Hyderabad. CCTV footage of that incident also went viral, in which the mechanic suddenly collapsed while working. People present nearby rushed him to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
