On the first ball of the last over of the match, Mustafizur Rahman ran and took a run. Rishhad Hussain hit a four on the second ball. On the third ball, Ali Khan ended Bangladesh's innings by getting Rishhad caught by the captain. In this way, America forced Bangladesh to suffer its second consecutive defeat.
