New Delhi. America has created history by defeating Bangladesh in the T20 International series. In the second T20 match, host America defeated Bangladesh by 6 runs in the last over. With this, America has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match T20 series. Before the upcoming T20 World Cup, America's T20 series against an ICC full member nation is really commendable. This is America's first series win in T20 against an ICC full member nation. It defeated Bangladesh in the last over. Earlier, America had also won the first ODI of the series. The heroes of America's victory were bowler Ali Khan and captain Monank Patel.

Bangladesh (USA vs BAN) team came out to chase the target of 145 runs set by America and collapsed for 138 runs in 19.3 overs. Captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto (36), Shakib Al Hasan (30), Tauheed Hadoy (25) from Bangladesh tried their best to make the team win but they could not succeed. Ali Khan took the maximum of 3 wickets for America. Saurabh Netravalkar and Shadley Van Shaylak took two wickets each.

Bangladesh needed 12 runs to win in the last over. Ali Khan was bowling for America. Bangladesh had scored 133 runs for 9 wickets in 19 overs. On the first ball of the last over of the match, Mustafizur Rahman ran and took a run. Rishhad Hussain hit a four on the second ball. On the third ball, Ali Khan ended Bangladesh's innings by getting Rishhad caught by the captain. In this way, America forced Bangladesh to suffer its second consecutive defeat.

The third T20 match will be played on 25th.
Earlier, Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto won the toss and invited America to bat first. America scored 144 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs with the help of Monank Patel's 42 runs, opener Steven Taylor's 31 runs and Aaron Jones' 35 runs. Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman and Rishad Hussain took two wickets each for Bangladesh. The third and last T20 match of the series will be played on May 25. The T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by West Indies and America from June 2.
