Yoga postures work to increase the flexibility of the body by stretching and lengthening the muscles, tendons and ligaments. Downward Facing Dog

  1. Start on your hands and knees.
  2. Lift your hips toward the ceiling and straighten your body, creating an inverted V shape with your arms and legs.
