Dr. Sunil Kumar Modi told that in summer, when the strong ultraviolet rays emanating from the sun fall directly into the eyes, the eye muscles start growing. Unnatural growth starts in the muscles. Due to this muscle growing near the cornea, people gradually start having trouble seeing. In such a situation, if it is not treated properly in time, it becomes a serious problem in the future. To avoid this, he has advised to always use good quality ultraviolet protective glasses before going out in the sun.

He told that after some time of returning home from outside, one should clean the eyes of dust and debris by splashing cold water in the eyes.
