Train Name- Vivek Express

This special Vivek Superfast Express train takes you on a tour of the whole of India. It runs directly from Dibrugarh in Assam to Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. This is the longest route in India, which covers a distance of 4218.6 km in about 74 hours 35 minutes. This train passes through eight states, giving passengers a chance to see different beautiful places. Let us tell you, Vivek Superfast Express (earlier Vivek Express) is actually a group of four pairs of express trains, which was started in the Railway Budget of 2011-12 to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

Aronai Express starts from Trivandrum Central and runs till Silchar. The journey is of 3932 kms which takes 74 hours and 44 minutes to complete. It is a long journey but you can get a glimpse of 8 states on the way! This train used to run from Trivandrum Central to Guwahati earlier but was later extended to Silchar. Currently, it is the longest running superfast train in India and also the second longest running train.

This special train, which runs once a week, takes you straight from Kanyakumari to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. It is such a long journey that it ranks 36th in the whole country and only 3rd in the city! Imagine a journey of 72 hours, a route of 3787 kms, crossing 12 states, this train will give you a glimpse of the whole of India. Stopping at 73 stations in between means that you can not only see beautiful sights but also taste the delicious food available at every station.

This is the Ten Jammu Express, train number 16787/16788! It is a once a week train that connects the Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir to Tirunelveli Junction in Tamil Nadu. This long distance train covers a distance of 3633 km in about 69 hours. It is the 40th longest rail route in the world and the fourth longest of Indian Railways. The train passes through 13 states and makes 64 stops along the way.
