WhatsApp has announced the rollout of the new bottom navigation bar on Android in a post on X (formerly Twitter). In this, a photo of the old interface has been posted, which had four tabs – Community, Chat, Status and Call. In the latest update, it can be seen that they have shuffled downwards.
After this change, the main navigation tab in the app remains within the reach of your thumb. This will be very useful especially if you have only one hand free. However, if you want to search something, you will still have to go to the top of the screen.
