'The Leader of the Opposition has grossly insulted the Hindu society…' Ashwini Vaishnav's retort to Rahul Gandhi's statement in Parliament

New Delhi: There was a lot of uproar in the Lok Sabha over the comments of opposition leader Rahul Gandhi on Hindu society. All the leaders of the ruling party including PM Modi opposed it. Today in the evening, BJP also held a press conference on this issue in Parliament. In which they targeted Rahul Gandhi on his statement on Hindu society as well as on the claims of not giving compensation to martyred Agniveers.

'Opposition leader's statement is irresponsible'

BJP MP Ashwini Vaishnav, while addressing a press conference, called the statement of the Leader of Opposition irresponsible. He said that today Rahul Gandhi has called the entire Hindu society violent and untruthful. He has insulted the Hindu society and this is not the first time, this is an old habit of the Congress. In the year 2010, the then Home Minister P Chidambaram had called Hindus terrorists. Today the whole country is saddened by this statement of Rahul Gandhi and no amount of condemnation is enough, this statement itself is enough. Calling Hindus violent, calling Hindus liars, putting pictures of God during parliamentary debate, adding politics to it, this level of debate does not suit the Leader of the Opposition in any way.

'Congress has always tried to mislead the country'

BJP has also targeted Rahul Gandhi by sharing this press conference on x. The party wrote on x – The post of Leader of Opposition is a very responsible post. Rahul Gandhi has taken responsibility for the first time but despite taking responsibility for the first time, he has given a very irresponsible statement today. He said that martyrs do not get any compensation, there can be no bigger lie than this. Today when he was giving a speech, the Defense Minister made it clear in the House that martyrs get compensation. He should look at his facts. It is not that Congress has raised questions on the army for the first time, Congress has always raised such questions on the army and tried to mislead the country.
