Taha Shah ran after Karan Johar's car, 'Haramandi's Tajdar narrated the story

Actor Taha Shah, who became famous by playing the role of Tajdar Baloch in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's web series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar', made his Bollywood debut in 2011. But he has got recognition only now. He says that nothing was ever easy for him. Talking to 'The Week', he mentioned the incident when he ran behind Karan Johar's car. Taha Shah told that he wanted to give an audition, so he ran behind Karan Johar's car. He told that when the director saw him like this, he immediately stopped the car and gave him water to drink. The actor said, 'He saw me, stopped the car and gave me water. He called me the next day for the audition of Dharma Production's film Gippy. This is how I got that role.'

Taha Shah played the role of Arjun in Sonam Naik's film. This film was released in 2013. However, it is a different matter that this film did not bring any change in his career. After this, he also tried to show his acting magic in films like 'Barkha' (2015), 'Bar-Bar Dekho' (2016) and 'Ranchi Diaries' (2017). But things did not work out. The train remained stuck on the same track.

The film was made under the banner of Yash Raj Films' subsidiary company Y Films. His work was praised in it but the film flopped. After struggling for a long time, Taha recently played the role of Sartaj in R Chandru's Kannada film 'Kabzaa' (2023). Upendra was in the lead role in it.
