T20 WC playing XI announced, Hardik out, surprising name in Sehwag's team

The selectors are going to select the team for the ICC T20 World Cup to be played in June at the end of this month. Regarding this, the selection committee will discuss the names of the players with captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid. Meanwhile, stalwarts like Irfan Pathan, Mohammad Kaif and Virender Sehwag have announced the name of their team. Bowler Sandeep Sharma has been included in the team selected by Sehwag on Club Prairie Fire Podcast. There has been talk of keeping Shivam Dubey in place of all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

Sehwag has chosen Yashasvi Jaiswal for opening along with captain Rohit Sharma. Virat Kohli has been kept at third position while Suryakumar Yadav has been kept at fourth position to bat. While the wicketkeeper is Rishabh Pant, one among Rinku Singh and Shivam Dubey has been chosen to give place. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been given place and Kuldeep Yadav is in the team as a spinner. Mohammad Siraj and Sandeep Sharma have been kept along with Jasprit Bumrah in fast bowling.
