'Prince' was clean bowled… Zimbabwe captain equaled Surya

New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has suffered defeat in the first T20 match against Zimbabwe. Team India, captained by Shubman Gill, failed to achieve the target of 116 runs. Host Zimbabwe defeated guest India by 13 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the 5-match series. Captain Sikandar Raza played an important role in Zimbabwe's victory. Sikandar took a total of 3 wickets including the wicket of Indian captain Shubman Gill. He was named Player of the Match. Sikandar was awarded the Player of the Match award in T20 International cricket for the 15th time. During this, he equaled Suryakumar Yadav. Surya has also won this award fifteen times in T20 International cricket.

Sikandar Raza could not do anything special in batting. He returned to the pavilion after scoring 17 runs off 19 balls. However, he performed brilliantly in bowling. Sikandar dashed India's hopes of victory by clean bowling Indian team captain Shubman Gill, known as 'Prince', with his spin bowling. Apart from this, he sent Ravi Bishnoi and Mukesh Kumar to the pavilion. Virat Kohli is the player who has won the Player of the Match award the most number of times in T20 International cricket. Virat has been selected Player of the Match 16 times in this format. Sikandar achieved this feat in 87 matches while Surya had to take the help of 68 matches to reach here. Virat Kohli has been successful in winning this award sixteen times in 125 matches.
