People liked David Dhawan's film 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' which was released in 1998. This is one of those films of David Dhawan, which people still like to watch. But, do you know that during the making of this film, there were reports that Govinda had overshadowed Amitabh Bachchan. What was this matter, recently Vashu Bhagnani talked about it.

Spoke to Vashu Bhagnani in conversation with Connect FM Canada. During this conversation, he was asked whether the rumors of Govinda overpowering Amitabh during the making of the film 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' released in 1998 were true. Vashu seemed to agree somewhat on this question.

This film was directed by David Dhawan in 1998.

He remembered what Amitabh had once said to him personally. At the time, Govinda was the biggest film star in Bollywood, while Amitabh Bachchan was stuck with his angry young man roles.

The filmmaker further said that some people believe that Govinda was the showrunner of 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan', he overshadowed everyone else. Vashu Bhagnani said that the whole world said so and if the whole world felt this way, then who am I to say otherwise? But the truth is that if Amitabh was not in the film, Govinda would not have got a chance to shine like him. It was because of Amitabh that Govinda got more appreciation.

He further said that I should not say this openly, but one day, Amit ji said, 'Dude, if we open the field, we both will see what will happen.' He said that Amitabh Bachchan had his own style and Govinda had his own. This couple was very good together.

Let us tell you that 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan', released in the year 1998, was a superhit film, which had earned more than Rs 35 crore worldwide. It will be released on April 10 on the occasion of Eid. The film also stars Alaya F, Manushi Chhillar, Ronit Roy and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
