Police found the decomposed body of Noor Malabika

On Monday, June 10, police said that a team broke open the door of Noor Malbika Das's flat in Oshiwara after receiving a complaint of foul smell coming from her house. On entering the house, Noor Malbika's body was found mutilated and decomposing. Noor Malbika had allegedly hanged herself on June 6. Her body was handed over to her friend and professional colleague AN Pathak. He cremated her on Sunday through an NGO. Noor Malbika's parents could not attend the funeral as they had moved to their home last week.
