'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' and 'Saavi', which released on Friday at the box office, have completed their first weekend. While Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's sports drama film has done a good collection in the first three days, Divya Khosla Kumar and Anil Kapoor's 'Saavi' has also had a decent first weekend. 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' is definitely ahead in the earnings race, but neither of the two films has been able to bring the jump in collection on Sunday, which was expected. According to sacnilk's report, 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi', directed by Sharan Sharma, has made a net collection of Rs 5.50 crore on Sunday. In its first weekend, this film has earned Rs 16.85 crore in India. Keeping in mind the sluggishness in theaters for the last two months, it can be called a good earning. Interestingly, this is also better than the first weekend of Rajkummar Rao's previous release 'Srikant'. 'Srikant' had earned Rs 11.70 crore in the first three days.

'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' earned less than expected on Sunday

'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' was released on Friday on Cinema Lovers Day. On this day, tickets were available in most cinemas for 99 rupees. In such a situation, the film got a strong opening on the first day and it did a business of 6.75 crores. On Saturday, instead of increasing, the earnings fell and it earned 4.60 crores. Whereas now on Sunday, the business has been 5.50 crores. It was expected that the film would reach at least 7 crores on Sunday. However, despite this, it is in a good position. The need is that this film made in a budget of 40 crores should now maintain its hold in the weekdays.

'Saavi's earnings are slow, but more than expected

On the other hand, the weekend has been good for Divya Khosla Kumar and Anil Kapoor's 'Saavi' as well. In a way, this film has performed better than expected. This film earned Rs 1.60 crore on the opening day. It did not get much benefit from Cinema Lovers Day on Friday. But the good thing is that it earned Rs 1.80 crore on Saturday and Rs 1.90 crore on Sunday. The thing to note is that its earnings have increased on both days, even if it is only Rs 10 lakh each. 'Saavi' has done a business of Rs 5.30 crore in the first weekend.

The election results coming on Tuesday will have an impact on income

'Saavi' directed by Abhinay Dev is an action-thriller. Anil Kapoor has added star value to this film. The story of the film is also being praised. In such a situation, this film can earn at its own pace, albeit slowly, in the coming days. However, the results of the Lok Sabha elections are to be announced on Tuesday. In such a situation, it will affect the earnings of both 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' and 'Saavi' on June 4.
