New Delhi. When the Indian team was facing Pakistani players on the difficult pitch of New York, Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) President Amol Kale was also present there to watch the match. Amid this tough competition, Amol Kale suffered a heart attack, due to which he died. He watched the match against Pakistan with MCA Secretary Ajinkya Naik and official Suraj Samat at Nassau County Stadium in New York on Sunday. During his tenure, Amol Kale successfully hosted the World Cup 2023 matches at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, including the semi-final played between India and New Zealand.

The Mumbai cricket team under the chairmanship of Amol Kale managed to win the Ranji Trophy tournament 2023-24. Kale is a big name in the Mumbai cricket circuit. He was also in the core committee of the Street Premier League and had plans to revive the Mumbai T20 League. He was also in charge when the MCA took the important decision that Mumbai players would receive match fees equal to the match fees paid by the BCCI to its players. Sankey Naik is currently the vice-president and is likely to take interim charge of the Mumbai Cricket Association.

Amol Kale's picture has also surfaced from the Mumbai Cricket Stadium. In this picture, he is seen enjoying the match with other members of MSA. It is being told that he suffered a heart attack after the match. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. This match between India and Pakistan was very close. Team India had given a target of 120 runs to Pakistan. Babar Azam and company could not achieve this target. India won by six runs.
