Mani Ratnam got an attack after seeing Vivek Oberoi's broken leg, ran to the hospital with Abhishek

Vivek Oberoi shared an incident during the shooting of Mani Ratnam's film 'Yuva' in 2004, in which his leg was broken in three different places. In his recent interview, Vivek Oberoi told that his friends Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan, who took care of him like elder brothers, took him to the doctor after this accident.

Let us tell you that Vivek Oberoi has been in the news a lot for his affair with Aishwarya Rai. Later he broke up with Aishwarya and then the actress married Abhishek Bachchan. In his early days, he was one of the busiest actors in Bollywood. This incident is from the set of Mani Ratnam's film 'Yuva' released in 2004, in which apart from Vivek, Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan were also seen. Both of them helped Vivek in that difficult time.

Vivek Oberoi's leg broken in three places in motorcycle accident

Speaking to Tom's Now, Vivek elaborated on the incident and said, 'A fun-filled day suddenly turned into a painful day when my leg was broken in three places due to a horrific accident with a motorcycle. I remember that my elder brother Ajay (Devgan) and my friend Abhishek (Bachchan) were with me then, they took me to the hospital, both of them stayed with me even amidst the pain of bones embedded in the skin and blood spread all around.

Director Mani Ratnam suffered a heart attack

Vivek further said that his day got even worse. “The worst was yet to happen,” he said. After seeing my accident, I came to know that Mani Anna (director Mani Ratnam) had suffered a heart attack. After this, both of us were recovering in the hospital, Ajay and Abhishek were with me. Apart from the painkillers, he was constantly encouraging me by telling his jokes.

Vivek Oberoi took 4 months to recover

Vivek told that it took about 4 months for him to recover. He also told that when he reached the set after four months, the atmosphere there became like a reunion. During the shooting of two songs of the film 'Fanaa' and 'Anjaana Anjaani', he was limping and the entire unit was encouraging him. “Sometimes I wonder how we did it,” he said.
