Parashar Lake near Mandi
This place is amazing! Located about 50 kilometers from Mandi, this lake looks like a crystal. This lake is like a piece of heaven on earth. Situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, this lake offers a different view due to its height. If you come here, you will see snow-covered Dhauladhar mountains all around. The Beas river flows between these hills and the most special thing is that an island also floats in the middle of this lake. The depth of this lake has not yet been ascertained. This lake freezes completely in winter, but during the rest of the time it captivates everyone with its beauty.
Bhootnath Temple
The spirituality of this temple dates back to the 1520s, and is as old as the city itself! This Shiva temple is located almost in the heart of the city. As soon as you enter the temple, devotees will see Lord Shiva's bull Nandi, standing in front of a magnificent arched entrance. The festival of Shivaratri celebrated in the month of March is the biggest celebration of this temple and the city.
