Directed by Nag Ashwin, 'Kalki 2898 AD' has rocked the box office. The film, which is scheduled to release in theaters on June 27, 2024, stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani among others. Released on 8500 screens across the country, the film has crossed the 300 crore mark on the fourth day and has crossed the 500 crore mark worldwide.

According to Sacnilk.com, Kalki 2898 AD earned around Rs 85 crore in India on Sunday. Made on a mega budget of 600 crores, this film has collected Rs 302 crore in India in the opening weekend. The highest earnings have been in Telugu language. There is a lot of earning in Hindi too

On the fourth day i.e. Sunday, the film has collected an estimated 36.8 crores in Telugu language, 5.5 crores in Tamil, 39 crores in Hindi, 0.7 crores in Kannada and 3 crores in Malayalam language. The total collection of the film in Hindi in four days has become Rs 110.5 crores. The Telugu version has earned the highest amount of Rs 162.1 crores.

The report also claims that the film can cross the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide. The final box office collection is currently awaited.

'Kalki 2898 AD' created box office history by becoming the third biggest opener in Indian cinema as it earned a massive Rs 191 crore globally on its first day. With its massive first day collection, the film surpassed the worldwide opening records of KGF 2 (Rs 159 crore), Salaar (Rs 158 crore), Leo (Rs 142.75 crore), Saaho (Rs 130 crore) and Jawaan (Rs 129 crore). However, it has not been able to overtake RRR. It still remains the biggest Indian opener with a collection of Rs 223 crore. It is followed by 'Baahubali 2' which earned over Rs 217 crore on its first day.
