Job training will be available in schools itself, government's plan for children from 9th to 12th class


Under the Skill India Mission, students studying in the schools of the Secondary Education Department will now be made vocationally skilled. On the guidelines of the state government, the district level committee has selected 12 trades for students from class 9th to 12th. A 40-minute vocational education class will be held for children every day during school hours. In which skilled trainers will provide information through private training partners. Training partners will arrange for raw material, other materials and equipment etc.

Short courses for jobs: Training will be available in these trades

The class will last for 40 minutes

District School Inspector Dr. Dharamveer Singh said that keeping in mind the new education policy, a strategy has been made to provide information related to the technical field to the children studying in secondary schools. On the orders of the government, 12 trades have been selected by the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate.

Earlier, two institutes of Gautam Buddha Nagar were selected. In the first phase, children are being given training in IT and Beauty and Wellness in the Government Inter College of the district. At the same time, children are being given information about IT and sewing in the Government Girls Inter College.

In the second phase, this course will be run in aided schools and in the third phase in private schools. It has been started during the school period itself, so the duration of training will be 200 hours. Therefore, classes of 40 minutes are being conducted daily.

Skill India Mission will bear the expenses

DIOS said that two groups of 35-35 children have been formed for class 9 and class 11. Different information will be given in this. Students registered in class 9 and 11 will be given training for nine months. A committee has been formed at the state level to select trades from every district. All expenses related to this course will be borne by the Skill Development Mission.
