Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is the elder daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi Kapoor. She has followed in her mother's footsteps and has managed to make a name for herself in the Hindi film industry. Janhvi is currently busy promoting her upcoming film 'Mr and Mrs Mahi' by Sharan Sharma opposite Rajkummar Rao. And during one such interview, she made a shocking revelation about her personal life. Recently, a video of Janhvi Kapoor surfaced on social media, in which the actress was asked to reveal where she did her schooling from. To this, she replied that she studied from Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai. However, when asked if she did not study at the famous Dhirubhai Ambani International School, the actress quipped, 'No'.

People are surprised by this answer of Janhvi Kapoor and they further asked her why people say that she has studied in Dhirubhai Ambani International School, while she never went there. Responding to this, Janhvi told that this is because of her friends who studied in that school. Janhvi said, 'I have many friends who are from Dhirubhai Ambani, but I never studied there. I know that even on Wikipedia it may be written as Dhirubhai Ambani International School, but I don't know.'

In 2021, Janhvi Kapoor appeared on the Social Media Star show and talked about the confusion related to the spelling of her name. Explaining how her name is slightly different from her actual spelling, Janhvi revealed that she spelt her name wrong for eight years. Explaining the reason behind this, she said that her mother Sridevi once told her the wrong spelling of her name, which she retained till the age of 12. Janhvi further revealed that she got to know the correct name when she saw her passport.
